Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical/Dental Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy medical and dental practice. This vital role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure seamless practice management, exceptional patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. You will oversee staff supervision, financial management, patient relations, and the implementation of healthcare policies, all while fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Your energetic leadership will drive the success of our practice and enhance patient experiences at every touchpoint. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency. Supervise healthcare staff, including medical assistants, dental hygienists, administrative support personnel, and other team members. Oversee billing processes, coding accuracy, medical billing procedures, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other health regulation policies. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix Ascend, or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records (EHR). Monitor financial aspects including budgeting, fiscal management, and managing practice expenses to ensure profitability. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and managed care policies. Implement human resources practices related to hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development. Coordinate with healthcare providers on clinical workflows involving acute care and critical care experience to improve patient outcomes. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing patient inquiries and resolving concerns promptly. Ensure all documentation related to medical records, medical terminology accuracy, and medical administrative support are meticulously maintained. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or dental office management within a healthcare setting. Strong supervisory experience managing teams in a clinical or healthcare environment. Extensive knowledge of healthcare management practices including practice management software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Ascend and EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Medisoft. Familiarity with health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards. Demonstrated ability in fiscal management, budgeting, medical billing, and financial oversight of a healthcare practice. Prior experience working with medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records systems. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach. Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management protocols in both medical and dental practices. Additional qualifications include acute care or critical care experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite essential for reporting and documentation purposes.
