Duties Lead and supervise the dental office team, including administrative staff, hygienists, and clinical personnel, ensuring optimal performance and morale Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow management, and maintaining high standards of patient service Coordinate treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring understanding of financial options and insurance coverage Manage medical records, electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), and ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations Handle billing processes, coding accuracy, insurance claims submissions, and follow-up to maximize revenue cycle management Monitor practice performance through fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures Ensure adherence to health regulation policies like JCAHO standards and managed care protocols while maintaining a safe environment for staff and patients Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or eClinicalWorks to streamline patient management and documentation processes Support human resources functions including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Facilitate communication between clinical teams and patients to enhance customer service experience Skills Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of medical office procedures including medical billing, coding, and insurance processing Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with Patient Management Software is essential Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation Excellent managerial communication skills to motivate teams and ensure clear internal communication Deep understanding of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance and health policy standards like JCAHO requirements Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment Experience in medical administrative support roles within acute care or dental settings is highly desirable Competence in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and correspondence purposes Knowledge of managed care practices and utilization management strategies to optimize patient outcomes and practice profitability Join us in leading a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care while fostering a positive work environment.
