We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Veterinary Practice Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The CVPM will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our veterinary practice. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including in-house payroll and bookkeeping duties. We are looking for a proactive leader who is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture, while maintaining the highest standards of client and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the veterinary practice, ensuring optimal functionality and a positive environment for staff and clients.
• Oversee in-house payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in employee compensation.
• Manage bookkeeping responsibilities, including accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Implement and uphold policies and procedures that promote efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and empowerment, encouraging staff professional development and wellness.
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance, ensuring a motivated and capable team.
• Liaise with veterinary staff to support the delivery of outstanding patient care and client service.
• Work closely with practice owners to develop strategic business goals and operational budgets.
• Represent the practice in a professional manner within the community, promoting our services and values.

Qualifications:

• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation is required.
• Proven experience in a veterinary practice management role, with knowledge of payroll, bookkeeping, and financial oversight.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team empowerment and collaboration.
• Familiarity with veterinary software and practice management systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service.
