Job Description
Job Overview Position opening for onsite office manager in Riva, MD for sole practitioner psychology practice. Part time 10 - 15 hours per week with flexible hours Monday - Wednesday. Office management skills include ability to use Apple computer with version of QuickBooks (for processing insurance payments and generating bank deposits). Processing electronic Credit Card payments. Preparing, completing and submitting weekly patient charge/activity sheets to outsourced medical billing specialist (for accounting & insurance processing). Processing office mail, (scanning/faxing insurance payment information to offsite medical billing specialist). Answering office phone and obtaining patient intake information. Reviewing, copying and mailing practitioner generated correspondences and evaluations. Responsible for custodian of patient records (organizing, filing, etc.). Compatible salary and profit sharing. Duties Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Proofreading of documents. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized files and records. Utilize Apple software for document creation, scheduling. Assist in calendar management. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency. Requirements Strong computer skills. Experience with Quickbooks Necessary Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
