In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily administrative functions, manage healthcare staff, ensure compliance with health regulations, and support the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your leadership will drive practice growth, streamline workflows, and uphold the highest standards of medical and dental office management. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic healthcare setting. Compensation depends on experience. Duties Manage all aspects of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to maximize efficiency. Oversee human resources functions such as staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Must be comfortable with hiring/terminating employees. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy rules, JCAHO accreditation standards, and state/federal health policies. Supervise medical office staff, including dental assistants, receptionists, and billing personnel; foster a collaborative team environment. Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, medical billing, coding accuracy, and financial reporting using EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR) systems to support patient management and legal compliance. Implement quality assurance protocols for patient care, safety procedures, and clinic operations to uphold high standards of service delivery. Skills Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in dental clinic operations and healthcare practice management. Expertise in managing teams within healthcare settings; excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Opendental solid understanding of electronic health records management. Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, managed care policies, and health regulation policies. Strong fiscal management skills encompassing budgeting, financial analysis, medical billing, and revenue cycle management. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records handling, and administrative support processes in a healthcare environment. Experience supervising healthcare staff with skills in HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance review and conflict resolution. Ability to utilize Google Drive for reporting and documentation; excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
