BluePearl Pet Hospital in Blaine, MN is seeking a Service Practice Manager to join our emergency and specialty hospital team. We are looking for a confident, caring, and results-driven leader who enjoys building strong teams and creating an environment where both associates and patients can thrive. The Service Practice Manager is a key leader within the hospital, responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, developing the team, partnering with hospital and medical leadership, and helping drive the overall success of the practice. This is a hands-on leadership role, with opportunities to work alongside the team and perform paraprofessional duties when not handling managerial responsibilities. As a Service Practice Manager, you will: Partner with the Medical Director and hospital leadership to build a strong, collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care and client service. Lead, mentor, and develop hospital associates while supporting engagement, retention, and team growth. Oversee daily hospital operations, including staffing, scheduling, workflow, communication, and delegation. Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Training to recruit, onboard, and develop new and existing team members. Support financial and operational goals, including payroll, budgeting, inventory, and hospital resources. Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, associates, clients, and referring veterinary partners. Address associate and client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment. Ensure the hospital follows applicable safety, regulatory, and employment requirements. Participate in hospital leadership meetings and contribute to operational and strategic planning. Maintain a visible, hands-on presence in the hospital and work alongside the team when not performing managerial responsibilities. Perform additional duties as assigned. What we're looking for: Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. 4+ years of relevant veterinary hospital administration experience with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. CVPM designation is a plus. Experience leading teams in veterinary medicine, healthcare, hospitality, or client services is highly valued. Skills & Qualifications Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a diverse team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong business judgment and ability to manage competing priorities.
