Dental Front Office Manager

  • 35/hour, depending on experience Full-time | In-person Advanced Reconstructive Dentistry is a private prosthodontic practice in Edina seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Manager / Patient Care Coordinator to become an important part of our vibrant and collaborative team.
Our practice focuses on comprehensive, high-quality prosthodontic and restorative care. We are a fee-for-service practice , allowing our team to focus on excellent patient care rather than insurance-driven dentistry. Although we are out-of-network, we assist our patients by accurately submitting dental insurance claims on their behalf. We are looking for someone who is warm and personable with patients, exceptionally organized, comfortable with the financial side of dentistry, and capable of taking ownership of the day-to-day front office. Responsibilities Create a welcoming, professional experience for patients from their first phone call through completion of treatment Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, short-call lists, recare, and follow-up Coordinate appointments and communication with referring dentists, specialists, laboratories, and other offices Manage incoming phone calls, emails, patient forms, and front-office correspondence Maintain accurate patient demographic, medical history, referral, and account information Work extensively with Eaglesoft and digital records/radiographs using DEXIS Submit dental insurance claims for our out-of-network patients and follow claims through completion Assist patients with insurance questions and reimbursement documentation Collect and post patient payments and charges accurately Discuss established payment arrangements and financial options with patients Monitor accounts receivable, statements, outstanding balances, refunds, and collections Send records, radiographs, and supporting information to referring offices and insurance companies Help maintain an efficiently scheduled and organized practice Serve as a dependable point person for day-to-day front-office operations Work closely with the doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other team members Be willing to pitch in when needed—we value team members who take initiative and help one another What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has previous dental front-office experience and is comfortable working independently while also being part of a close-knit team. Experience with the following is highly desirable: Dental front-office and practice-management workflows Eaglesoft DEXIS Dental insurance claims and claim follow-up Out-of-network and/or fee-for-service dental practices Patient scheduling and schedule optimization Patient financial discussions and payment collection Accounts receivable and collections Communicating with referring dental offices and specialists Dental terminology and treatment sequencing We especially value someone who is: Friendly, confident, and professional with patients Detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable discussing treatment fees and financial matters An excellent communicator by phone, email, and in person Dependable and able to work independently Proactive and willing to take ownership of responsibilities Comfortable managing multiple priorities Team-oriented and willing to help coworkers Interested in becoming a long-term member of our practice Compensation & Benefits We believe experienced dental professionals should be compensated competitively and have access to meaningful benefits.
