Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily operations of the Activities Office, including answering phones, taking messages, and assisting students, coaches and parents. Coordinate registration for over 50 sports and activities using the online registration program, and provide reports for the Business Services Office and coaches Manage various web-based programs: the Minnesota State High School League website, Big 9, Sports Ngin, Qmlativ and Affinety data bases. Coordinate department and team/activities websites, online medical information as mandated by the Minnesota State High School League. Compile and maintain accurate records on physicals, eligibility forms, credits, behavior and chemical standards on over 700 students 7th
  • 12th grade.
Collecting, depositing, and reporting participation fees, collecting non-sufficient funds, gate receipts, ticket sales, seasonal financial reports, purchase orders, and online registration. Coordinate and assist with section duties of hiring of event workers, ticket sales and financial reports for auditors. Coordinate scheduling of building use requests and searching for space availability (classrooms, computer labs, gyms, cafeteria, and auditorium). Flexibility to work with multiple interruptions, regarding inclement weather, change of events, rescheduling busing, student dismissal, communication with Middle Schools etc. Issue keys, supplies and equipment to coaches/trainers. Provide backup support for other department clerical staff. Perform other duties within the level of responsibility of position as assigned by the Activities Director.
Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills and experience. Strong clerical skills to handle a variety of office procedures. Strong telephone/communication skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and work independently. Ability to take initiative, work under pressure and handle frequent interruptions. Accuracy and attention to detail essential. Maintain confidentiality. Strong human relations skills to communicate and deal effectively with students, parents, coaches, faculty, district personnel and the general public. Commitment to
