Job Description

Penz Dental Care is actively seeking applications for the role of office manager to join our team. Successful candidates are friendly, positive, detail oriented, and willing to be a team player. Dr. Matt Penz and the PDC team provide quality general dental care in Rochester, MN. We take pride in our ability to listen, educate, and connect with patients. Our mission is to build relationships with our patients and community through quality dentistry. The office manager plays a pivotal role in the team's success.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the dental office. Supervise, train, schedule, and support front-office and administrative staff. Coordinate patient scheduling, confirmations, recalls, and treatment appointments. Ensure a welcoming, professional, and positive patient experience. Oversee insurance verification, claims, billing, collections, and accounts receivable. Monitor practice production, collections, expenses, and other key performance indicators. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations. Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and workflow improvements. Coordinate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure effective communication and smooth patient flow. Handle patient concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly. Manage office supplies, equipment, vendors, and facility needs. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee development. Maintain compliance with OSHA, infection-control, employment, and dental-practice requirements. Prepare reports and provide management with recommendations for improving practice performance.

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
