Front Desk Manager / Lead Receptionist Ward Vet Services - Tupelo, MS Ward Vet Services is seeking a Front Desk Manager / Lead Receptionist with 4+ years of receptionist or administrative management experience to oversee daily front office operations in our fast-paced veterinary clinic. Veterinary clinic experience is strongly preferred. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, confident managing client flow, and comfortable supporting clinic leadership with reporting, scheduling coordination, and financial tracking. Responsibilities Manage daily front desk workflow and reception coverage Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in person and by phone Schedule appointments efficiently to support provider productivity Assist with client check-in/check-out and invoicing Maintain accurate patient and client records Support clinic management with administrative reporting Work within QuickBooks for payments, tracking, and reconciliation support Maintain spreadsheets and operational trackers using Excel Coordinate communication between front desk, technicians, and providers Help monitor inventory ordering needs and office supplies Assist with staff coordination and front office accountability Support marketing reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups as needed Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years receptionist or office management experience Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with QuickBooks Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Professional and dependable attendance Preferred Qualifications Veterinary clinic experience Experience with veterinary software (such as ezyVet or similar) Medical scheduling background Experience supervising front desk teams Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Employee pet care discounts Stable full-time schedule Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Clinic hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30
