Job Description

Job Summary Seeking an organized Office Manager/Front Desk/Receptionist to join our dental team. This position combines front desk responsibilities and administrative management. The ideal candidate is personable, compassionate, has great communication skills, and possess a proactive approach. Duties Manage front desk operations including answering phones, directing calls with proper etiquette, scheduling and confirming appointments, and handling inquiries efficiently Coordinate communication between patients and other dental providers to ensure timely follow-up on referrals Maintain accurate and organized dental records that comply with privacy regulations and laws Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, perform basic accounting, financial data entry, and good financial balances for the office Organize filing systems, and ensure the office environment remains organized and welcoming Verify insurance coverage by performing insurance eligibility checks, process claims, and follow-up on outstanding claims Collect and post payments, as well as billing, coding, and document management of patient accounts Requirements Ability to handle duties Experience in administrative role or front desk roles within a professional environment Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with accounting software and dental programs, such as Eaglesoft Basic bookkeeping knowledge required Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with a professional phone etiquette manner Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through excellent organizational skills and schedule management techniques Dental office experience Comfort discussing patient treatment, options, and finances High level of professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information; integrity is essential Professional demeanor at all times Team player Strong work ethic Self-motivated Independent Dependable Attention to detail Patient-centered, team-focused approach Positive attitude Ability and willingness to be flexible and adapt easily Ethical Trustworthy This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence. Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 35.0 per week
