Job Description

Job Overview:
Our pediatric dental office is seeking a skilled and friendly office manager to join our team. We are looking for someone with specific knowledge of dental insurance with previous managerial experience. We are a fun and upbeat pediatric practice, and we think a pretty awesome place to work. We are open 4 days a week with alternating Mondays and Fridays off. Every other weekend is a four-day weekend!
Duties:
  • Verify insurance coverage and complete insurance claims processing
  • Collect payments from patients and provide accurate financial information
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely completion of treatments
  • Handling patient complaints, addressing billing questions, and building long-term trust.
  • Overseeing payroll, monitoring office expenses, and setting budgets for supplies and inventory
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
Skills:
  • Must have previous experience working in a dental office setting
  • Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional demeanor and ability to provide exceptional customer service
