Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, machining, and refurbishment of automated manufacturing equipment and tooling. Job Requirements High school diploma, GED, trade school certificate, or technical diploma 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment maintenance Machining experience with precision surface grinders, lathes, and mills Experience with industrial automated manufacturing equipment Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and engineering drawings Experience using test equipment to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and product defects Experience maintaining and calibrating test equipment Experience with hand tools and power tools Experience documenting preventive maintenance and equipment breakdowns Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with tool control and inventory management Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hour shifts Preferred Skills Associate degree in a technical field Cleanroom production experience SAP PM experience Experience with LEAN and 6S manufacturing practices Experience with equipment OEM and vendor support Experience with fabrication and equipment retrofit activities Job Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment failures Perform precision machine and tooling alignments Refurbish production tooling using precision surface grinders, lathes, mills, and other machine shop equipment Fabricate and modify machine parts using manual machine tools and fabrication equipment Produce components from engineering drawings using various materials Document preventive maintenance activities in SAP PM Record equipment breakdown details and downtime data Respond to unplanned equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance Use diagnostic and test equipment to identify machine malfunctions and product defects Maintain and calibrate test equipment Write test procedures and interpret test data Use hand and power tools to fabricate, retrofit, and repair equipment Develop standard operating procedures and maintenance work instructions Support implementation and maintenance of LEAN and 6S processes Participate in on-call duty, first responder training, or hazardous waste training when required Coordinate with equipment OEMs and vendors for troubleshooting, repairs, and spare parts procurement
