ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER / VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Excellent opportunity to expand or enhance your veterinary management skills while continuing to practice as a Veterinary Technician and lead the team on the floor. We practice high-quality, compassionate medicine in a fast-paced urgent care setting, and we're excited to be in our new, larger, and more modern facility! If you're passionate about animal care and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families, we'd love to hear from you. Duties Assist the Practice Manager in leading and supporting the veterinary team. Serve as a working Veterinary Technician and provide hands-on patient care. Assist with referral outreach, scheduling, marketing, training, and inventory management. Help maintain efficient daily operations and a positive, professional work environment. Support team members and help ensure high standards of patient care and client service. Qualifications Prior veterinary technician experience required; management or leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care practices. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely. Ability to remain on your feet and actively working for 8+ hour shifts , including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and assisting with patient restraint and care. Ability to safely handle and work around animals of varying sizes, temperaments, and medical conditions. Pay:
$20.00 - $32.00 per hour
