Dental Office Manager / Front Desk Coordinator Englewood Dentistry Englewood, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Full Job Description Englewood Dentistry is seeking an experienced, organized, and personable Dental Office Manager / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing practice. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the front office, keep the schedule productive, and provide an excellent experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, comfortable working independently, and experienced with dental scheduling, insurance, treatment follow-up, and patient communication. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the front desk Answer incoming calls and respond to patient messages promptly Schedule and confirm patient appointments Maintain a productive doctor schedule and fill last-minute openings Contact overdue patients for recalls and continuing care Follow up with new-patient leads and appointment requests Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Review treatment estimates and patient financial responsibilities Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims Monitor unpaid claims, aging reports, and outstanding balances Present treatment plans and follow up with patients who have not scheduled Coordinate referrals, records, and communication with other dental offices Maintain accurate patient information in the practice management system Help oversee front-office workflows, policies, and daily administrative tasks Deliver professional, friendly, and compassionate customer service Qualifications Previous dental front-desk or dental office management experience is strongly preferred Experience with Dentrix is highly preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance verification, claims, and treatment plans Strong telephone, communication, and customer-service skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy dental office Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payments Reliable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented Able to take initiative and solve problems without constant supervision Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
