Job Description
This Is Not an Entry-Level Role. This is a strategic, senior leadership opportunity for credentialed veterinary technicians who already think beyond the floor and are ready to shape systems, standards, and leaders — not just schedules. This role carries real authority, visibility, and impact across the hospital. Meet Eclipse Eclipse Specialty & Emergency Pet Care is a modern, privately owned specialty and emergency hospital built by board-certified specialists and a licensed veterinary technician who believe the future of veterinary medicine depends on exceptional teams — led exceptionally well. Our 24/7 hospital supports Emergency & Critical Care alongside Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Radiology, and Dentistry inside a purpose-built, naturally lit facility surrounded by wetlands and greenery. We have the tools (CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house lab, blood gases), but more importantly, we have standards. We hire people who take pride in their craft and expect the same from the environment they work in. We don't hire to fill gaps. We hire to raise standards. The Role As Nursing Manager , you are responsible for the strategic vision, operational excellence, and leadership development of the nursing department. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage tasks — it is for someone who wants to build leaders, define standards, and influence outcomes . You will directly support and develop Nursing Supervisors, partner closely with the Practice Manager and Medical Directors, and ensure the nursing department operates with clarity, consistency, and clinical excellence. You will not be micromanaged. You will be expected to lead. This Role Is for
