Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the success of our dental practice. This vital role combines administrative expertise with healthcare management, ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional patient care, and compliance with industry standards. As a key member of our team, you will oversee staff supervision, financial management, and practice efficiency, creating an environment where both patients and team members thrive. Duties Lead and supervise dental office staff, including front desk personnel, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Manage daily office operations such as patient scheduling, billing, coding, and medical records management using EMR/EHR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft Oversee financial functions including budgeting, medical billing, accounts receivable/payable, and fiscal management to ensure practice profitability Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and health regulation policies while maintaining patient confidentiality and data security Coordinate staffing schedules, human resources activities, and training to optimize team performance and patient service quality Monitor clinic workflows to improve efficiency and patient experience while managing patient management software and electronic health records systems Maintain accurate medical records, medical terminology documentation, and ensure adherence to medical administrative support protocols Requirements Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of medical office procedures including billing, coding (e.g., Epic or eClinicalWorks), and medical records management Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Open Dental or similar platforms; familiarity with Microsoft office Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and health policy standards Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing healthcare staff payrolls Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and ensure high levels of customer service At least 3 years of experience working in a dental clinic is required, preferably in a leadership or office management capacity. Additional healthcare experience in medical clinics or hospital settings is welcomed.
Pay:
$28.88 - $34.78 per hour
