Position Summary:
As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.
Position Details:
Location:
This is a float Ultrasound position, required to commute to Bethpage, Stony Brook and Valley Stream clinics.
Schedule:
Full-time. Open schedule availability and able to work on weekends is required.
Compensation:
$40-$45 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations . Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing . Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment. Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow. Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.
