Dental Office Manager — $25
•40 per Hour Dr. Joe Dental Group | Levittown, NY Dr. Joe Dental Group is building an exceptional dental practice in Levittown, and we are searching for an office manager who wants to do more than simply keep the office running. We want a leader. The right person will create an outstanding patient experience, support the clinical team, protect the schedule, strengthen office systems, and take genuine ownership of the practice's success. This position pays $25
•40 per hour , based on experience, capabilities, leadership, and the level of responsibility you are prepared to embrace. How Our Compensation Works Starting around $25 per hour: For someone who can reliably perform the traditional administrative responsibilities of a dental office, including answering phones, scheduling patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining an organized front desk. Up to $40 per hour: For an experienced dental leader who can manage the entire patient journey, lead and hold a team accountable, present treatment confidently, improve collections, reduce scheduling gaps, establish effective systems, solve problems independently, and help the practice grow. This is not about high-pressure sales or pushing unnecessary dentistry. It is about helping patients understand their treatment, removing obstacles to care, maintaining a healthy schedule, and making sure the entire team operates at a high level. What You'll Be Responsible For Creating an exceptional experience from the patient's first phone call through completion of treatment Managing the daily schedule for productivity, efficiency, and excellent patient care Confirming appointments and minimizing cancellations and no-shows Answering phones professionally and converting inquiries into scheduled appointments Helping patients understand recommended treatment and financial options Following up on unscheduled treatment and overdue continuing care Verifying insurance benefits and explaining coverage accurately Submitting and tracking insurance claims Managing aging reports, outstanding balances, and patient collections Establishing clear financial arrangements before treatment Monitoring key practice numbers and identifying areas needing attention Coordinating effectively with the doctor, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team Leading daily team huddles and improving communication Training, supporting, and holding team members accountable Developing and maintaining efficient office systems Handling patient concerns calmly, professionally, and compassionately Identifying problems early and taking ownership of solutions Protecting patient privacy and maintaining HIPAA compliance Helping create a positive, organized, accountable workplace culture The Person We Want You may be an excellent fit if you: Lead by example and do not wait to be told what needs to happen Treat every patient with warmth, patience, and respect Communicate confidently without sounding scripted or pushy Understand that an unanswered phone or unfilled appointment affects the entire practice Can discuss treatment and finances comfortably and professionally Know how to balance compassion for patients with the financial health of the practice Follow through consistently and pay attention to details Hold yourself and others accountable without creating unnecessary drama Remain composed when the office becomes busy Enjoy building systems, improving performance, and solving problems Want to help create an extraordinary practice—not simply maintain an average one What You'll Find at Dr. Joe Dental Group Competitive compensation of $25
