Job Description

Dental Treatment Coordinator Location:
Manhasset, New York We are a established dental office with an exceptional and supportive team, and we are looking for a motivated and personable Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing practice. The Dental Treatment Coordinator will work closely with the doctors, clinical team, front desk, Regional Manager, and CEO to help patients understand their recommended treatment and feel confident moving forward with their dental care. About the Position We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, organized, and comfortable communicating with patients about their dental treatment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an understanding of dental terminology and procedures, and the ability to explain treatment plans and financial options clearly and confidently. Responsibilities Present dental treatment plans to patients in a clear and professional manner Review recommended treatment with patients and answer questions Explain treatment costs, insurance benefits, and available payment options Help patients understand their insurance coverage and estimated out-of-pocket expenses Follow up with patients regarding outstanding treatment plans Build strong, trusting relationships with patients Help patients feel comfortable and confident about proceeding with recommended treatment Coordinate treatment appointments and communicate with the front desk and clinical team Work closely with doctors and dental assistants to ensure patients understand their treatment needs Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions Prepare and review treatment estimates Assist with insurance pre-authorizations and claims as needed Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Follow up on unscheduled and outstanding treatment Communicate professionally with patients by phone, email, and in person Contribute to a positive and welcoming patient experience Support the team with administrative responsibilities as needed Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a dental office is preferred Experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, Dental Office Manager, or Dental Assistant is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Understanding of dental insurance and treatment estimates Dentrix experience is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable discussing treatment and financial information with patients Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Professional, friendly, and positive attitude Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Motivated to learn and grow within the organization Why Join Our Team?
