Job Description

About Meadowbrook Dental Meadowbrook Dental is a two-location, doctor-owned practice serving Nassau County from Mineola and Plainview. About this role This is a manager role, not a senior front desk role. You will run the Mineola location as a business: the schedule, case acceptance, collections, and team accountability. Ownership is investing in this practice and wants a manager who takes the wheel, brings solutions, and moves numbers. If you like being handed a plan and following it, this is not the right fit. If you like being handed a problem and solving it, keep reading. What you will own Fill the schedule — daily and weekly schedule integrity, unscheduled treatment follow-up, recall and reactivation, reducing open time and no-shows Close the treatment — coach the team on treatment presentation and financial options, including our in-house dental plan and third-party financing, and track case acceptance Collect the money — over-the-counter collections, daily reconciliation and deposits, accounts receivable follow-up, insurance aging Lead the team — daily huddles, opening and closing routines, staff scheduling, and holding each person accountable to their job description Train — onboard new team members and run ongoing skill training for the front desk on scheduling, verification, and patient conversations Report — track and report the numbers that matter to ownership each week and month: production, collections, case acceptance, hygiene reappointment, new patients Partner with the doctors and the Plainview location to keep both offices running consistently What we are looking for Three or more years in a dental practice in a front desk lead, treatment coordinator, or office manager capacity A track record of results you can describe with numbers — we care far more about what you have accomplished than how many years you have been in a seat Working knowledge of dental insurance, PPO plans, verification, and claims follow-up Eaglesoft experience preferred; strong candidates who have learned other software quickly are welcome Comfortable holding team members accountable directly and respectfully Organized enough to run a busy office and flexible enough to handle a day that changes at 9:15 a.m.
