Job Description

About Us:
We are a busy podiatry and wound care practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff, optimize patient flow, and ensure the efficient management of the practice.
Position Summary:
The Medical Office Manager is responsible for the overall administrative and operational management of the practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in podiatry, wound care, orthopedic, or specialty medical practice management and be capable of independently managing office operations while maintaining exceptional patient service. Must Have Minimum 5 + years of medical office management experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a podiatry, wound care, orthopedic, vascular, or specialty medical practice Experience supervising and managing office staff Strong knowledge of: Medicare Medicaid Commercial insurance plans Prior authorizations Referrals Medical billing and collections Experience with EMR/EHR systems Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong communication and patient service abilities Preferred Experience with wound care billing and documentation Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Russian) Experience with payroll and human resources functions Knowledge of workers' compensation and no-fault claims Experience with social media management and practice growth initiatives is a plus Experience supporting patient acquisition and practice growth preferred Responsibilities Practice Operations Oversee daily office operations and workflow Ensure efficient patient scheduling and provider utilization Monitor front desk performance and patient satisfaction Manage office supplies, vendors, and facility needs Maintain HIPAA compliance and office policies Staff Management Supervise front desk and clinical support staff Train, mentor, and evaluate employees Manage staff schedules and attendance Assist with recruitment and onboarding Revenue Cycle Oversight Monitor insurance verification and authorizations Review billing processes and collections performance Follow up on denied claims and outstanding balances Work closely with billing personnel to improve revenue cycle efficiency Patient Experience Resolve patient concerns professionally and promptly Maintain high standards of customer service Improve patient retention and satisfaction Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid major holiday Join us as a Medical Practice Manager to lead our healthcare team toward operational excellence!
