We are open to appointing one candidate for a full succession-planning role (Assistant transitioning to Practice Manager), or two candidates to split the operational and strategic leadership functions according to their strengths. You will work side-by-side with our current Practice Manager and GP Partners, receiving mentoring, targeted professional development, and gradual delegation of strategic responsibilities until you are fully equipped to assume total leadership of the business and operational functions of the practice. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day non-clinical operations, IT systems, human resources, staff line management, and maintaining CQC compliance under the guidance of the Practice Manager. Take ownership of specific workflows such as rota management, patient feedback, and contractual targets such as QOF and enhanced services. Assume ultimate responsibility for practice leadership, strategic planning, financial budgeting, and external stakeholder engagement, ICB and PCN, upon the departure of the current manager.
