Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with confidence and expertise. This vital role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, dealing with Insurance payments, and delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the dental office team, including administrative staff, hygienists, and clinical personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and managing practice expenses to ensure profitability and sustainability. Manage medical records, electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), patient management software Dentrix ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate daily clinic operations including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and patient flow to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction. Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, safety standards, and health regulation policies to maintain high-quality care standards. Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development in accordance withhealthcare practice management best practices. Implement and monitor compliance protocols related to medical records management, medical billing procedures, managed care policies, utilization management, and HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for documentation, billing support, and reporting purposes; troubleshoot technical issues as needed. Foster excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming clinic atmosphere. Collaborate with healthcare providers on acute care procedures and ensure the clinic operates within legal and regulatory frameworks. Qualifications Proven experience managing a dental practice with supervisory responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of medical office management systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, medical billing, and revenue cycle management. Extensive understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, health policy guidelines, and managed care protocols. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and patient management software; familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is required. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service. Background in medical administrative support combined with acute care or critical care experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of nursing procedures or clinic experience will be considered an asset for this role. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and regulatory changes within the healthcare landscape.
