This role is vital in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant functioning of the medical office environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, medical administrative support, and office supervision, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high standards of practice management. As a key leader, you will oversee staff, manage financial and billing processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, and medical records management. Oversee billing and coding processes utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to optimize practice profitability. Lead human resources functions such as staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, health regulation policies, and other relevant healthcare regulations to maintain accreditation and legal adherence. Coordinate with medical staff including nursing professionals and administrative teams to streamline workflows and improve patient care delivery. Utilize patient management software and electronic health record systems to maintain accurate medical records and facilitate efficient information flow. Monitor quality assurance initiatives related to medical billing, utilization management, managed care policies, and clinical documentation standards. Implement office management best practices to enhance patient satisfaction through excellent customer service and effective communication strategies. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical or dental setting. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare staff including nurses, administrative personnel, or clinical teams. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes. Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance, JCAHO accreditation standards, and health policy policies. Prior experience with acute care or critical care environments is preferred; dental clinic experience is highly desirable. Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach to patient interactions. Knowledge of managed care practices, utilization management strategies, and health regulation policies to ensure operational excellence.
