Job Description
Join the ViaSmiles team as a Dental Practice Manager. We're a brand-new practice opening soon in the Polaris area, and this role is at the center of everything that makes the office run well. We're looking for someone who knows dental operations inside and out, leads by example, and takes ownership of outcomes. You're organized, direct, and comfortable making decisions. You hold high standards without making the environment feel heavy, and your team is better because you're in it. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination. Manage budgeting, billing processes, and financial performance to keep the practice healthy and growing. Hire, train, and develop clinical and administrative staff; handle performance evaluations and address conflicts when they arise. Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and all relevant healthcare regulations. Work closely with dental professionals to keep clinical workflows running smoothly. Oversee insurance processing, managed care coordination, and administrative support functions. Monitor inventory, procurement, and equipment maintenance so nothing disrupts patient care. Track operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and grow the practice. Build a workplace culture where patients feel welcome and staff feel supported. Qualifications Prior experience managing a dental or healthcare office is required. Solid grasp of budgeting, revenue cycle management, and financial reporting. Experience hiring, supervising, and developing a team. Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards. Comfortable working in Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms. Clear communicator with staff, patients, vendors, and outside partners. Calm, solutions-oriented, and effective in a fast-moving environment. Compensation This position offers a base salary combined with performance incentives tied to clinic results. The better the practice does, the more you earn.
