This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential support across clinical and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. As a floater, you will be flexible in assisting various departments, including front desk reception, medical records management, billing, and clinical support. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining comprehensive experience in dental office operations. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of your contributions to our team. Potential for full time for the right individual. This is a 2-3 day a week/ 8 hours a day position. We cannot accommodate schedules that need to only work part of the day. Responsibilities Provide front desk support by greeting patients, managing multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance coverage. Assist with patient intake processes, including data entry, updating electronic health records (EHR) systems . Support clinical staff with documentation review, follow up calls to patients, and ensuring accurate dental records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform insurance verification and billing tasks utilizing orthodontic collection procedures and Medisoft or Dentrix software. Manage filing of dental records, lab deliveries, and other documentation while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to health information management standards. Support clinic operations by assisting with medical scheduling, patient service inquiries, and front desk duties such as check-in/check-out procedures. Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless office management, including handling clerical tasks like typing reports, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Skills Experience with hospital or dental clinic environments is highly preferred. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google, Slack communication, multi-line phone systems, and typing (10 key). Familiarity with health information management practices and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient privacy and data security. Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle patient inquiries effectively and efficiently. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous clinic or dental office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with insurance verification processes and dental billing is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks. Be a real people person and genuinely enjoy interacting with people.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
