Medical Office Manager Requirements Medical office experience Experience in medical coding and billing Experience and proficiency medical records management Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Exemplary customer service skills and work ethic that demonstrates leadership by example Computer literacy and adept with MS Word and Excel Job Duties Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards Scheduling Medical coding and billing Review treatment plans and obtain prior authorization for treatment Manage the daily operations of the office Track and monitor data, manage patient recordkeeping Address and research patient billing inquiries and requests Schedule Monday though Friday, 8am-5pm Rate of Pay $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
