PART-TIME ASSISTANT BOX OFFICE MANAGER STATE THEATRE CENTER FOR THE ARTS, INC
The State Theatre Center for the Arts, located in Easton, PA, is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Assistant Box Office Manager to help deliver exceptional ticketing operations and outstanding guest experiences. This position supports the day-to-day ticketing operations, financial accuracy, and customer service standards of the theatre, ensuring a seamless experience for patrons, staff, and external promoters. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and an interest in the arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Open and close the Box Office and complete daily operational procedures. Provide excellent customer service to patrons in person, over the phone, and via email. Process ticket sales, gift cards, and will-call orders using our box office software. Balance daily cash drawers, complete settlements, and prepare financial reports. Build and maintain events in the ticketing system and troubleshoot system issues. Generate ticket counts and reports for promoters and event organizers. Manage ADA seating inventory and assist guests with accessibility needs. Maintain accurate records and manage transactions securely. Assist with general administrative and front-of-house tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Experience managing cash and balancing financial transactions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. Previous box office, ticketing, hospitality, entertainment, or customer service experience, preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability:
