Overview:
We are seeking a Practice Manager that will be responsible for coordinating the administrative, operational, and financial functions of a busy psychiatric private practice. This position will report to the Practice Administrator. They will work closely with clinical and administrative staff, and help ensure that day-to-day operations are efficient, compliant, and responsive to the needs of both patients and providers. The successful candidate will be a dependable, experienced, and solutions-focused professional who can balance operational priorities, support team performance, and contribute to the continued success of the practice. Please note that this is an in-person position. We cannot offer a hybrid or remote schedule. Key Responsibilities Practice Operations Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the psychiatric practice Maintain and optimize office systems, website, workflows, and policies Oversee TMS program, includes travel to local medical practices for referral management Billing, Coding & Revenue Cycle Supervise insurance billing, coding, claims submission, and collections Monitor accounts receivable, denials, and reimbursements Financial Management Prepare monthly financial and performance reports for leadership Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency Staff Management Oversee clinical, administrative and billing staff schedules Supervise and conduct performance reviews of administrative and billing staff Conduct clinical staff recruitment as needed Patient Experience & Scheduling Oversee scheduling systems, intake, and patient communications Supervise patient verification of benefits and collections at time of service Compliance Maintain policies related to privacy, documentation, and clinical operations Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, payer requirements, and state regulations Additional Duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 2 - 5 years' experience in medical or behavioral health practice management Background in medical billing and coding supervision Experience with insurance verification, A/R management, and denial resolution Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance standards, and healthcare regulations Leadership and staff management experience Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and practice management software Financial reporting and budgeting experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in psychiatry, mental health, or behavioral health practice administration CMPE or CMM Bachelor's or Master's degree Familiarity with telehealth billing and compliance Proficiency with financial management software (ex: QuickBooks) Knowledge of psychiatric billing and coding (CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, payer rules) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Supportive and collaborative clinical environment Opportunity for a leadership role in a thriving psychiatric practice
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
