Job Description

Job Summary The Practice Operations Manager (POM) provides leadership and operational oversight for front office operations while actively supporting patient care coordination responsibilities. This role is responsible for supervising, developing, and performance-managing Patient Care Coordinators (PCC) to ensure excellence in customer service, operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with NPOS standards. The POM partners closely with Surgeons, the Lead Assistant(s), and the Regional Manager to maintain a collaborative, patient-centered, family-centric, and high-performing environment. Essential Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Patient Care Coordinator team, ensuring consistent adherence to NPOS standards and service excellence Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of all front office staff Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service to patients, families, and referring providers at every point of interaction Collaborate with Physicians and Clinical Management to align scheduling priorities with operational capacity and patient care goals Maintain rigorous compliance with OSHA, DEA, HIPAA, and all NPOS policies and procedures Leverage practice management software capabilities to optimize front office efficiency and ensure consistent staff proficiency Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve front office processes, documentation standards, and patient-facing forms Serve as the primary escalation point and daily resource for the front office team, maintaining operational continuity Prepare and deliver operational reports as directed by the Regional Manager Qualifications and Experience Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare or medical office setting Comprehensive knowledge of front office operations, scheduling systems, and healthcare compliance standards Demonstrated success in staff training, coaching, and performance management Proven experience working in direct partnership with physicians and senior organizational leadership High proficiency in practice management software; DSN platform experience strongly preferred Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities Polished professional presence with an unwavering commitment to patient-centered service excellence
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
