Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and manage a team of healthcare professionals. Your leadership will drive efficiency, compliance, and a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare setting while utilizing their extensive knowledge of medical office management and dental practice operations. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency. Supervise and support staff, including dental assistants, receptionists, and billing personnel, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and practice revenue cycle management. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, and state/federal health policies. Utilize dental-specific EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient records and streamline clinical workflows. Coordinate patient management software to enhance patient experience and ensure smooth communication across departments. Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare practice management best practices and regulatory changes impacting dental clinics. Handle medical administrative support tasks such as medical records management, appointment scheduling, and insurance processing. Monitor clinic performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions to enhance service quality. Experience Proven experience managing a dental or healthcare practice with strong leadership skills in supervising teams within a medical office environment. Extensive knowledge of dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. Demonstrated fiscal management expertise including budgeting, financial analysis, and medical billing processes. Prior experience in healthcare management roles involving compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare policy standards. Strong background in customer service, human resources management, and medical administrative support within a clinical setting. Familiarity with clinic operations involving acute care or hospital environments is advantageous but not required. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaborative working relationships in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
