Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Office Manager, where you'll lead the daily operations of a busy medical practice with energy and precision. This role combines proven administrative expertise, team leadership, and healthcare management to ensure seamless clinic functioning. You will oversee human resource activities, staff supervision, financial oversight, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the efficient use of electronic health records systems. Your proactive approach will foster a professional positive environment for both staff and patients, with the goal of excellence in healthcare delivery. The perfect candidate will be self-motivated and a self-starter with the ability to make sound decisions. Potential candidate must have a minimum of four years contiguous experience in a Medical Office Manager role. Current work references and a background check is required. Responsibilities Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency. Supervise healthcare staff and support all positions within the office as needed. Oversee fiscal management tasks including budgeting, medical billing, financial reporting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare policies to uphold patient confidentiality and safety. Utilize Epic/Carelink and MDX software. Perform all yearly Credentialing and Re-validation tasks as required. Advocate and monitor contractual agreements with payors as well as vendors. Coordinate with healthcare providers on practice management strategies, utilization management, and adherence to health care billing regulations. Lead human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and managing employee relations within the practice. Maintain knowledge of managed care policies and medical billing procedures to streamline revenue cycle processes. Foster excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries efficiently while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Implement office management best practices to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and health regulation policies. Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes. Background experience working with Surgery patients. Promote a professional and efficient atmosphere by personally setting the example.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
