Key responsibilities include:
Oversee daily practice operations across both markets Coordinate provider schedules, patient appointments, and coverage Manage and support administrative and clinical team members Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and provider support Monitor referrals from initial receipt through scheduling and patient care Ensure patient eligibility and authorization processes are completed appropriately Monitor documentation completion and follow up on outstanding items Maintain operational, referral, patient, authorization, and performance tracking systems Work closely with billing and revenue-cycle teams to resolve operational issues Help ensure providers and staff follow established policies, workflows, and documentation standards Identify operational problems and take initiative to develop solutions Monitor supplies, equipment, inventory, and vendor needs Assist with implementation of new programs, technology, and clinical services Maintain communication between providers, staff, billing partners, and leadership Develop relationships with referral sources throughout Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley Assist with community outreach and practice-growth initiatives Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular operational updates to leadership Help ensure both markets maintain consistent standards for patient experience and quality of service Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has previous healthcare practice management, medical office management, or healthcare operations experience. Wound care experience is highly preferred, but candidates with strong experience in specialty medicine, home health, physician practices, or other fast-paced healthcare environments are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications Previous healthcare management or supervisory experience Strong understanding of medical office and clinical operations Experience managing multiple providers, locations, or service territories preferred Familiarity with insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, referrals, and medical billing workflows Experience working with EMR/EHR systems Strong leadership and team-management skills Excellent organization and follow-through Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Professional and confident when communicating with physicians, providers, facilities, vendors, and leadership Experience with staff recruitment and onboarding is a plus Experience with wound care, home health, mobile healthcare, or advanced practice providers is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability and willingness to travel between Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley as operational needs require This Role Is Perfect for Someone Who.
