Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Manager to lead the operational and administrative functions of a busy healthcare practice. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily clinic operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive medical office experience, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management systems. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, including patient flow, appointment scheduling, and administrative workflows Manage and supervise healthcare staff, including medical administrative support, nursing personnel, and office staff, ensuring optimal team performance Implement and maintain compliance with
HIPAA, JCAHO
standards, health regulation policies, and other healthcare regulations to safeguard patient privacy and ensure quality care Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix to manage electronic health records efficiently while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Coordinate medical billing processes, insurance claims, and managed care activities to optimize revenue cycle management Monitor fiscal management aspects including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure the practice's financial health Lead human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution in accordance with healthcare HR best practices Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards, medical records management protocols, and compliance with healthcare practice policies Foster excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment Support clinical staff in acute care scenarios or utilization management processes when needed to enhance patient outcomes Experience Proven experience managing a medical or dental office with comprehensive knowledge of clinic operations and healthcare management principles Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a healthcare setting; ability to motivate staff and promote teamwork Extensive familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation purposes Strong understanding of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO accreditation standards, and medical billing procedures Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle optimization Prior experience in managing healthcare staff across various disciplines such as nursing or administrative support is highly desirable Knowledge of managed care processes, utilization management practices, and acute or critical care environments enhances effectiveness in this role Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike Join us as we strive to deliver exceptional healthcare experiences through dedicated leadership! $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
