Approximately 5 Months (Contract Position)
Start Date:
September 2026 We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Superintendent to oversee the construction of a new dental office build-out. Rather than hiring a traditional General Contractor, the owner will serve as the General Contractor and is looking for an experienced construction professional to manage the day-to-day execution of the project from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys running projects independently and coordinating all aspects of commercial tenant improvement construction. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day construction of a commercial dental office build-out. Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors and trades. Make sure all trades are working per the proper sequencing order. Schedule work to keep the project on time and on budget. Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with plans and specifications. Coordinate inspections and maintain communication with local building officials. Enforce OSHA and job site safety standards. Schedule inspections with City and other AHJ Keep Owners updated on a weekly basis Resolve field issues quickly and efficiently. Track project progress and provide regular updates to the owner. Coordinate material deliveries and maintain an organized job site. Review subcontractor work before payment approval. Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and occupancy. Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager on tenant improvement or medical office projects. Dental or healthcare construction experience is highly preferred. Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans. Excellent scheduling and subcontractor management skills. Knowledge of building codes, inspections, and safety requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Reliable transportation and ability to be on-site daily. Compensation Competitive contract compensation based on experience. Approximately five-month engagement. Potential opportunities for future projects About the
Project:
This project is a complete dental office build-out. The owner is taking an active role as the General Contractor and it will depend on the PM for finding and assembling high-quality sub-contractors. We are looking for someone who can lead the daily construction operations, coordinate trades, maintain schedules, and deliver a successful project.
