We're looking for a Practice Manager to help lead our Wallisville team and create an environment where both people and pets can thrive. The Opportunity As Practice Manager, you'll be a key leader in the hospital, partnering closely with the medical and leadership teams to support hospital operations, team development, client experience, financial performance, and practice growth . This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being involved with their team - not someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. You'll help solve problems, develop people, improve processes, and step in wherever you're needed to keep the hospital moving forward. What You'll Do Lead and develop the veterinary hospital team through coaching, mentorship, accountability, and recognition Oversee daily veterinary practice operations , staffing, scheduling, resources, and workflow Partner with doctors and hospital leadership to support excellent patient care and a positive team culture Monitor hospital performance and financial results and identify opportunities for improvement and growth Champion an exceptional client and pet experience Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development Ensure compliance with veterinary policies, procedures, regulations, and required records Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming hospital environment Support community engagement, marketing initiatives, and hospital growth Be willing to jump in and help the team on the floor when needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in people leadership, management, or relationship management Veterinary industry or veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done Passion for developing people and creating exceptional experiences for clients and their pets Comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment Why NVC?
