Job Description Financial Management:
Oversees hospital's budget, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and purchasing.
Human Resources & Team Leadership:
Handles hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
Operations & Workflow:
Ensures smooth operations, including managing and updating software systems, and controlling inventory.
Client Relations:
Acts as the primary point of contact for elevated client complaints and feedback.
AAHA & Regulatory Compliance:
Maintains strict compliance with OSHA, DEA, and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred, though extensive equivalent veterinary experience is accepted.
Experience:
Ideally 3+ years of management experience, ideally in a veterinary, medical, or fast-paced clinical setting.
Skills:
Conflict resolution, financial literacy, and proficiency with veterinary practice management software.
Certification:
Being a certified veterinary technician and/or experience as a veterinary technician would be desirable.
