Overview Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a Dental Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy dental practice with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee administrative functions, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimize practice efficiency. Your leadership will foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a thriving dental clinic setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate all administrative and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing processes such as medical billing and practice management software like Eaglesoft Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance Implement and monitor healthcare policies, including health regulation policies and compliance standards related to medical records and medical terminology Oversee patient management software to facilitate appointment scheduling, patient communication, and record keeping Lead human resources functions such as staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Ensure adherence to healthcare practice management standards, including managed care protocols, utilization management, and acute care procedures Experience Proven experience in medical office management within a dental setting Extensive background in dental office experience and billing practices Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams as a healthcare practice manager Strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions including medical billing, medical records management, and medical terminology Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EHR systems is essential Experience in managing budgets, financial management, and healthcare staff management is highly desirable Knowledge of health regulation policies such as HIPAA compliance and managed care regulations Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with outstanding customer service abilities This role requires acute care experience or critical care background is advantageous. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare regulations confidently.
