Veterinary Medical Technology Animal Care Supervisor Lincoln Memorial University | Ewing, Virginia Lincoln Memorial University is seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Medical Technology Animal Care Supervisor to join our Veterinary Medical Technology program at the LMU campus in Ewing, Virginia . If you're an experienced veterinary technician or veterinary nurse who enjoys working with both animals and students, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping educate the next generation of veterinary professionals. Position Summary The Animal Care Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for students participating in animal care responsibilities and helps ensure all animal care activities are completed in a safe, humane, professional, and compliant manner. This position provides oversight of canine, feline, and laboratory animal care while supporting both the Veterinary Medical Technology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine programs. Responsibilities Supervise daily care of canine, feline, and laboratory animals. Guide and mentor students during animal care rotations, laboratories, and clinical skills activities. Promote the highest standards of animal welfare and regulatory compliance. Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to support instructional activities. Assist in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional learning environment. Support hands-on educational experiences for veterinary students. Qualifications Required Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology or Veterinary Nursing. Preferred Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology or Veterinary Nursing. Why Join LMU?
