Lead Registration Operations | Develop Exceptional Teams Elevate the Patient Experience At OrthoVirginia , we know every exceptional patient experience begins long before a patient sees their provider. It starts with a welcoming, efficient, and knowledgeable registration team. We're seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee Registration teams across our orthopedic clinics in Lynchburg, Forest, and Farmville . This leader will be responsible for developing high-performing front-office teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring patients receive an outstanding experience from arrival through check-in. The ideal candidate has successfully led registration or front-office operations within a physician practice, specialty clinic, ambulatory care center, or hospital outpatient setting. They understand that strong leadership, consistent operations, and engaged employees are essential to delivering exceptional patient care. What You'll Do Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop Registration team members across multiple clinic locations. Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and support employee development. Lead through change while building engaged, high-performing teams. Drive Registration & Front Office Excellence Ensure patients receive professional, compassionate, and efficient service from check-in through check-out. Oversee registration workflows, insurance verification, cash collections, and front-office operations. Identify opportunities to improve patient flow, operational efficiency, and service consistency. Resolve escalated patient concerns while maintaining a patient-first approach. Partner Across the Organization Collaborate with clinic administrators, providers, clinical leaders, and operational partners to support daily clinic operations. Monitor staffing, productivity, and workflow across multiple locations. Standardize best practices while recognizing the unique needs of each clinic. Support organizational initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and the patient experience. Ensure Operational Excellence Monitor key operational and service metrics to drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and registration standards. Promote accuracy, accountability, and consistency across all registration processes. Serve as a trusted operational resource and leader within the region. What You'll Bring Qualifications 3+ years leading front-office, registration, or medical office teams , including responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development. Experience overseeing healthcare registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle operations within a medical office, physician practice, ambulatory, or hospital outpatient setting. Experience supporting operations across multiple clinic locations or departments , with a demonstrated ability to improve workflows, partner with providers and clinical leaders, and deliver an exceptional patient experience. IND123 Compensation Range for this position: $61,800.00 - $92,700.00 Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
