Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and dependable Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is positive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced dental office. Position Summary The Dental Front Office Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily administrative operations of the practice while providing outstanding customer service to our patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience with dental insurance and scheduling. Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience is preferred. Experience with Open Dental software is highly preferred. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits. Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims. Explain treatment plans, insurance estimates, and patient financial responsibilities. Collect patient payments and maintain accurate financial records. Present financing options and assist with payment arrangements. Maintain an organized patient schedule to maximize office efficiency. Manage patient records and ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Coordinate referrals and communicate with specialty offices. Monitor outstanding treatment and recall appointments. Contact patients regarding overdue hygiene and treatment appointments. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Order and maintain front office supplies. Assist with daily opening and closing procedures. Support the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient experience. Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the practice. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience preferred . Experience with Open Dental software preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processing. Strong understanding of PPO insurance verification and claims. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Proficient with computers and standard office software.
