Job Description

Premier Periodontics - Seattle, WA Premier Periodontics is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and motivated Assistant Manager / Treatment Coordinator to join our Seattle periodontal practice. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients while also taking ownership of the day-to-day operational and financial performance of the office. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, confident in discussing treatment and finances with patients, highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to identify what needs to be done and follow it through to completion. This position is not a traditional staff-management role. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the doctors and team but will not be responsible for managing employees or doctors. Instead, this person will serve as a key operational leader for the office, with significant responsibility for treatment coordination, patient financials, A/R, workflow, and office performance. What You'll Be Responsible For Treatment Coordination Present treatment plans and help patients understand their recommended care, clearly explaining treatment costs, insurance considerations, payment options, and financial responsibilities. Coordinate treatment scheduling and help ensure a smooth patient experience from consultation through treatment. Office Operations Take ownership of the day-to-day operational flow of the office: monitor scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Identify operational issues and take appropriate action or escalate issues when leadership involvement is needed. Monitor follow-through on operational priorities and ensure tasks don't fall through the cracks. Assist with implementation of new systems, processes, and initiatives. Accounts Receivable & Financial Responsibility Take full responsibility for the office's accounts receivable (A/R). Follow up on outstanding balances and unresolved insurance claims. Leadership & Accountability Serve as a trusted operational resource for the Seattle location. Help keep the office organized, efficient, and focused on excellent patient care. Work collaboratively with doctors, clinical staff, and administrative team members. This Position Is NOT Responsible For Hiring, firing, or formal employee discipline Direct management of employees Performance management of team members Management or supervision of doctors Clinical decision-making or clinical management Instead, the Assistant Manager will focus on operational execution, treatment coordination, patient financials, A/R, and ensuring the office runs efficiently and effectively. What We're Looking For Experienced in treatment coordination, preferably in a specialty practice. Comfortable discussing significant treatment plans and financial commitments with patients. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong with numbers and comfortable taking ownership of A/R and financial reports. Confident following up on outstanding balances and insurance issues. A strong communicator who can work effectively with doctors, clinical staff, patients, and leadership. Pay:
