Grow. Make an Impact. Midwest Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our leadership team and help drive the next phase of our growth. We are a privately owned, state-of-the-art specialty hospital focused on surgery, rehabilitation & sports medicine, dedicated to advancing care for companion animals with soft tissue, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Since opening in 2022, we have built a strong clinical and cultural foundation. We are now looking for the right leader to help us strengthen systems, develop our team, and scale thoughtfully, as we continue to establish ourselves as a premier center for surgical and rehabilitation care. The Opportunity:
As Practice Manger, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, working directly with ownership to: Oversee and manage the day-to-day hospital operations Drive strategic growth and operational excellence Develop leaders within the organization Strengthen financial performance and accountability Protect and evolve our culture and core values

Who We Are Looking For:
A strategic, detail oriented thinker who can also execute at a high level A people-focused leader who builds trust, accountability, and engagement Brings strong analytical, financial, and operational skills with the ability to navigate complex business challenges Energized by growth, change, and building systems that scale A strong communicator who can align teams and drive clarity
What We Are Looking For:
3-5+ years of leadership experience in veterinary, healthcare, or service-based operations Proven experience managing teams, operations, and financial performance Strong business acumen (P&L, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting) Strong computer literacy with hands-on experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting platforms like QuickBooks Experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams Strong desire and proactive approach to quickly master the hospital's specific processes, workflows, and compliance procedures Proven track record of collaborative, respectful leadership with an established ability to unite leadership teams and staff across all organizational levels Ability to think strategically and execute effectively Veterinary experience and CVPM is highly desirable Ready to Join Us?
