Alhambra, CA Job Details $22 - $27 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook In-person customer service Word embeddings Handling customer service requests Full Job Description Position Summary To ensure that all patient(s) records are reviewed and accurate prior to releasing patient records' in a timely manner, maintaining patient confidentiality, accuracy and respect at all times.
Schedule:
Flexible, may require some evening and weekends Primary Duties and Responsibilities Prepare patients' charts accurately and appropriately, based on the specificity of the request. Ensure that the requested medical records are organized, accurate and complete. Verify patient(s) information via ICCONS Timely release of patients' records to all requestors, via: Fax In-person Mail Email Review of all Legal and Governmental patient charts inquiries and requests, prior to release. Safeguard patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with HIPAA standards (confidentiality) at all times. Release of medical records in compliance with Patient Health Information Release Protocol. Create digital copies of requested medical records and store electronically. Upkeep and maintenance of Medical Records Release/Transfer Matrix. Follow-up on pending release of patient records. Creation of Declaration of Records, if needed. Weekly submission of Records Transfer Report to QA/QM Director. Prepare invoices, if needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Requirements Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook Excellent Communication Skills Excellent Customer Service Skills Bi-lingual Spanish/English (preferred) Ability to work as a team player and work independently Required Education/Experience and/or Licensure/Certification High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent preferred, but not required. Knowledgeable of the alpha-numeric system Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic Valid State Identification
