Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Medical Records AI Summary & Data Migration Specialist to assist our clinic with the transition from paper medical records to a new digital Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This is a critical short-term project requiring exceptional accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality. The successful candidate will scan patient paper charts, utilize AI-assisted tools to generate clinical summaries, thoroughly verify all information for accuracy, and enter validated data into our new electronic medical record system. The quality and accuracy of this work are essential to patient care and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Review and organize paper medical records and patient charts. Use approved AI tools to generate concise patient medical summaries. Carefully verify all AI-generated summaries against original records for completeness and accuracy. Correct any inaccuracies, omissions, or inconsistencies before data entry. Transfer verified patient information into the new EMR system. Ensure proper documentation of medical history, medications, allergies, diagnoses, procedures, and other relevant patient information. Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times. Meet established productivity and accuracy goals. Collaborate with clinic staff to resolve documentation questions and discrepancies. Assist with quality assurance audits throughout the project. Skills Experience with chart abstraction or medical records conversion projects. Experience using AI-assisted documentation tools. Excellent computer and data-entry skills. Ability to review large volumes of documentation efficiently. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to operate AI tools for data extraction, summarization, and migration tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, and commitment to accuracy. Strong communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
