About the
Role:
At North Range Behavioral Health, every client deserves compassionate, high-quality care, and that care starts with having the right information in the right place at the right time. Our Medical Records team plays an important role in making that possible. By ensuring client records are accurate, complete, secure, and accessible, you'll help give our clinical teams the information they need to provide coordinated, person-centered care. As an Office Professional with Medical Records, you'll be part of a team that values accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and exceptional service. You'll support the day-to-day management of client health information, including maintaining and reviewing records, processing requests for information, supporting documentation needs, and ensuring information is handled appropriately and in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail will make a difference. You'll work closely with clinical and administrative teams, helping ensure records are organized, documentation is complete, and information is available when it is needed. You'll also use sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive information, knowing that every record represents a real person who has trusted North Range with their care. At North Range Behavioral Health, some of the most important work happens behind the scenes. This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.
What You Will Do:
Maintain medical record operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting changes. Ensure medical record availability by routing records. Research medical record discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Provide medical record information by answering questions and requests of clients, staff, medical practices, law firms, insurance companies, government agencies, etc. Maintain the stability and reputation of North Range Behavioral Health by complying with legal requirements. Maintain and utilize a variety of health record indexes, storage, and retrieval systems. Act as a Customer Advocate by advising and/or guiding the direction taken to resolve complaints of problems with customers, family members and others. You're a
Great Fit If You:
Have a High School Diploma or a GED. Have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative support position. Preferred fluency in both English and Spanish to best support the individuals and families we serve.
