Requirements:
responsible for record keeping and medical records management for a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation / sub-acute care nursing center. prepare charts for new admissions, close medical records upon discharge, maintain physician's orders and visit schedules, and audit to ensure records management meets center's policies and procedures, professional standards, and state and federal laws and regulations for long-term care facilities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience reading and interpreting medical terminology required. Proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Computer-Based Programs and Internet-Based Applications required. Prior experience in Medical Records or related healthcare support position in a LTC / Skilled-Nursing experience a plus

Requirements:
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.

Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Proficient in the use of personal computer.
