Our team is committed to delivering outstanding results in a timely manner while ensuring the clients are always put first. We are currently seeking a Medical Records and Lien Specialist to join our personal injury team in New Port Richey. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting pre-suit and litigation personal injury legal teams with precise medical record documentation and follow up, this is the team for you. This is a 100% in office position. Accountability and dedication to fast paced working, accuracy, and the highest level of customer service are non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities- Request, track, and organize medical records and itemized bills from healthcare providers
- Review medical records for accuracy, completeness, and relevance to each case
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and billing departments to resolve discrepancies
- Summarize medical records and prepare documentation for attorneys and case managers
- Track outstanding medical liens
- Efficiently utilize office software, including Filevine, O365, Adobe, and other web based SAAS to support records management and communication. What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in medical records, medical billing, or a related field
- Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 codes, and billing statements
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines at on
- Strictly adhere to confidentiality standards to protect all client and firm information.
