The Medical Records Specialist is responsible for the overall coordination and supervision of patients' medical records and the incorporation of clinical documents into those records. This position is an entry level position that will cross train in Billing, Document/Order Tracking. The ideal candidate for this position is motivated to learn, an organized team-player, with a dynamic personality who can work well with in-office personnel as well as referral sources. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in home health care or related health program preferred, medical office experience necessary. Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to multitask to ensure completion of several tasks, projects, and reports daily. Intermediate functional knowledge of computer/technology skills including, but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, navigation of company website, and electronic medical record.
